The purpose of this Amendment 1 is to incorporate the Questions and Answers document for transparency. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ) FA8501-22-Q-0006. CDRLs are NSP (Not Separately Priced). Evaluation for award will be based on lowest price. The offeror is to submit information that shows the quote is complaint with the PWS such as paragraph 1.1.1 of the PWS. Quotes are considered acceptable (providing prices for all CLINs and filling out applicable clauses) and also meets all requirements of the PWS. Award will be made to the responsible vendor who offers the lowest price and their quote is determined acceptable IAW PWS. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, and training to provide and service mail metering systems, which determines and applies postage conveyed via the United States Postal Service (USPS) and other specified commercial carriers, using internet connections for the 78th FSS/FSVP and the AFLCMC/EXGT/LZP, at Robins AFB, GA. The system shall collect and report on carrier usage by account, usage (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/as required), special services and weight, package status and delivery information, void report, and operator activity reports. Support services are required to ensure meters are operational and up-to-date, including associated hardware and software. The contractor shall be responsible for providing, maintaining and upgrading hardware, software, and reliable steady internet connectivity. See attached PWS for more information.
