NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION (NOPCA) The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division Contracting Branch, (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio Lackland intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Fixed Price Purchase Order for the repair services for the KG-175D Encryption/Decription Devices, NSN 5810-01-547-4520, P/N MC-10901-2, to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), General Dynamics Mission Systems, 150 Rustcraft Rd, Dedham MA 02026, Cage Code 04655. The proposed contract action is for the repair of these assets for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source In Accordance With (IAW) 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by end of July 2022. No technical data/drawings/technical orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government’s requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within five (5) business days of this publication. Interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, any socio-economic classification, and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. This Request for Information (RFI) is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.215-3 (Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes – Oct 1997) and is published to obtain information for use by the Air Force Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, for market research and planning purposes only. This RFI is NOT a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or announcement of a solicitation. It is intended for information or planning purposes only. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any potential offeror's ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. Any requests for a solicitation package will be disregarded. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. The Government is seeking comment from Industry partners for the repair of the Taclane Micro KG-175D and associated items in support of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Lackland A.F.B (AFLCMC/HNCCPL): Taclane Micro, KG-175D NSN: 5810-01-547-4520CA P/N: MC-10901-2 The scope of this task is to provide evaluationm repair and calibration services in support of the Taclane Micro KG-175D. Work is required to be performed at Industry’s facility. All personnel are required to be US citizens and have security clearances at the SECRET level or higher.
