No proposals are being accepted or requested from this notice. 419th SCMS requests interested, qualified sources to respond to this notice. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quote (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), or invitation for bid (IFB) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the government as a result of information submitted in response to the sources sought announcement. Consequently, the Government will not reimburse any vendors for the cost incurred to provide information for this effort. 2. The 419th SCMS at Hill AFB, Utah is seeking to qualify new sources of manufacture to support the B-2 Mission. The assembly is a B-2 (AMAD) Fitting, Mount; Part Number(s): DAA3244P004-203, 755016, 742457 NSN: 2995012625577RP Description: Mounts the AMAD in to its aircraft position support points. The contractor will be responsible for manufacturing the parts, and the Government will manage the assembly of those parts. Interested parties may request drawings by contacting the contract administrator listed at the bottom of the page. 3. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a full requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued. Failure to respond to this notice does not preclude proposal submittal should a formal acquisition be announced. 4. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:00 PM MST on 27 MAR 2020. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining if this procurement can be accomplished on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Sources shall include in their information: a. A detailed capabilities statement stating their capabilities in providing the same or similar item described in this notice. Please submit answers to the following questions: What is the lead time for this part given that it has a “DX” rating? Please provide information regarding your passivation and precipitation hardness testing. How would you meet the 43-47 HRC Hardness? How would you prove that hardness was achieved without destroying the part? What is your lead time for AMS5629 material? b. A point of contact with phone and e-mail information. c. Business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business). d. Business size based on NAICS 336413. e. A positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. 5.
