The Department of the Air Force intends a sole-source, five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity firm-fixed-price contract with Applied System Engineering, Inc. (ASE) in Fort Worth, Texas, for repair of various radar transmitters. ASE is the original equipment manufacturer and the only source with the proprietary technical data, tooling, and engineering expertise required. The contractor will furnish facilities, parts, materials, equipment, and services to inspect, test, teardown, evaluate, repair or replace failed components, and return each end item to serviceable like-new condition. Responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for agency consideration in determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. The solicitation is expected to be issued later this year and will be available only on SAM.gov.
