Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This contract requires a contractor to inspect and potentially restore up to 12 Heat Exchangers (Part No. 12CB-1) to serviceable condition. The work will involve one of three defined efforts: Test, Teardown, and Evaluation (TT&E) only; TT&E with Minor Repair; or TT&E with Major Repair. The TT&E portion is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) effort to assess the items, while both Minor and Major Repair efforts are Not-To-Exceed (NTE) price arrangements. The contractor must perform all visual, mechanical, and electrical testing according to the contract schedule and specified technical procedures. If repairs beyond the initial scope are needed, the contractor must notify the government representative for approval before proceeding.
