The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is seeking sources for Information Technology (IT) Destruction Services in multiple regions of the United States. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this Request for Information (RFI) or to otherwise pay for the submission of any information in response to this notice. Any response will be treated as information only and shall not be used as a proposal. The release of this synopsis is to gain information on sources and capabilities. Scope of Work: IT Destruction Services utilizing commercial facilities to destroy obsolete Government IT equipment. Allow for the destruction of closed containers and allow the DAF to identify, and furnish, witnesses to oversee the destruction process. Government Program Office: SAF/AQLX, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling 20 MacDill Blvd SE, Washington, DC 20032 Estimated Contract Value: $4,000,000.00 per year x 5 years Location of work: Multiple Regions within the United States (CONUS) Please submit your company's response to the attached questions (attachement 1), encompassing capabilities for IT Destruction Services. You may also include organization and proposed team member statements of interest, qualifications, experience, expertise, products and any relevant corporate literature and product data. Replies will be independent of, and have no bearing on, evaluation of proposals submitted in response to any future formal Request for Proposal. Information received in response to this request may be used by the DAF for acquisition planning and solicitation preparation activities. Eligibility in participating in a future acquisition does not depend upon a response to this notice. No feedback will be provided to the responses of this notice. The DAF will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this RFI. Proprietary information is neither sought nor desired by the DAF at this time. If such information is submitted, it must clearly be marked "proprietary" on every sheet containing such information, and the proprietary information must be segregated to the maximum extent practicable from other portions of the response (e.g., use an attachment or exhibit). All businesses responding to this RFI must include business size and business socio-economic category (if a Small Business). Any questions and all responses should include the company name, address, and phone number, and the name, e-mail address and phone number of the point or points of contact within your organization. Notice: the DAF will likely host an Industry Day in January 2023 to discuss further acquisition details. Any input from this RFI will greatly increase the productivity and success of the industry day and overall requirements. Industry Day notices may or may not be posted to www.sam.gov.
