F-16 SAASM/EGI Program
The F-16 System Program Office requires technical support to upgrade existing GPS receiver cards with government-furnished GEM VII-2 cards for anti-spoofing capability. This is a 3-year IDIQ contract (one-year base plus two one-year options) with a ceiling amount of $2,000,000. All work must be performed at the contractor’s facility, with the government shipping units on a continuous delivery schedule. The effort supports a total requirement of 100 to 200 EGIs, maintaining a steady-state throughput of approximately 12 per month. The government intends to award this as a sole-source to Honeywell Aerospace, the original equipment manufacturer.
