The Government requires emulation software capable of emulating the A-10 Line Replaceable Units (LRU) in real time at the Single Board Computer (SBC) level to allow a complete replacement of the existing Oracle Solaris OS that the A-10 Program currently uses for its emulating system. The software solution must be capable of executing the target-specific LRU production software, handling legacy A-10 software updates with no changes to the emulation software, providing a robust debug interface (checkpoint creation/restoration, stack trace analysis, breakpoint support, etc.), and interfacing with the current government-owned A-10 modeling and simulation framework. The replacement emulation suite must also run on standard network servers running RHEL 8 (and newer), and support containerization for LRU modularity and isolation. For a detailed description of the software and work required, see the attached Draft SOW issued with this Sources Sought Synopsis. Based on market research conducted by the government, we have only found Northrop Grumman ReVAMP software to be the only viable source. Responses shall address whether the interested party is capable of meeting the requirements identified in paragraph 2, or provide an alternate solution for the government to review and evaluate.
