This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA822723R1088 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02 and its supplements. This is a full and open announcement filed under NAICS code 333120 and Product Service Code 3830. This requirement is to purchase accessories for a Government owned Caterpiller (CAT) 279D3 Compact Track Loader (Skid Steer) to meet test mission requirements. The Government intends to award a Brand Name, Firm Fixed Price to an authorized distributor of Caterpiller products in accordance with FAR 13.501, see Brand Name Justification attached to this solicitation. The products provided will be supplied in accordance with the specifications in the attached CAT Accessories Product Description and Specifications. All CLINs will be established on a firm fixed price basis. All proposals must indicate if the vendor can achieve delivery within 90 days after receipt of contract. If this delivery is not practicable, vendors must propose an alternate delivery schedule. Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to: price; meeting specifications in product description; and, performance within the specified timeframe. Any exceptions to the CAT Accessories Product Description and Specifications dated April 04, 2023, must be identified in quote. By submitting a quote, the contractor agrees to all stipulations in the purchase specification unless specified as an exception in the quote. **The due date for all proposals is Wednesday, 07 June 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.** All questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted by Thursday, 01 June 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to allow for the Government to assess the inquiry and provide a response.
