QUESTIONS and ANSWERS: 1) Based on the description of the requirements, it is mentioned that personnel doing the move must have secret clearance to gain access to the base. My question is: can we process the laborers/drivers as visitors in order to gain access to the base? Answer: The laborers will be escorted at all times in classified areas. There is no need for them to have a clearance. The contractor awarded the job shall ensure that all names, driver's license numbers and anything else required for them to be allowed on the base is provided to contracting. Your question and the answer will also be posted on SAM.gov. 2) Is there any way to obtain photos of the equipment that needs to be moved, or further documentation from the site visit? Answer: Unfortunately, no pictures are available as it is a secure building. The due date for proposals has been extended to 3 May 2023.
