Pre-Solicitation Synopsis AMXG Simio Software License(s) Description of items to be acquired: The United States Air Force has a requirement to purchase seven (7) Simio RPS Edition Single User Annual Subscription License – Node Locked at Hill Air Force Base. This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance found in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation. The United States Air Force is conducting this pre-solicitation to contract for the purchase seven (7) Simio RPS Edition Single User Annual Subscription License – Node Locked. The annual subscription must include software technical support and updates (product maintenance). THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION IS FOR A PRODUCT WHICH THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.501(a)(ii). INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii). THIS PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITION. HOWEVER, ALL PROPOSALS SUBMITTED BY RESPONSIBLE, QUALIFIED SOURCES RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE ON THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A DETERMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO OPENLY COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
