This Notice is for the DRAFT Request For Proposal (RFP) for Depot Onsite Contract Augmentee Teams 5th Generation (DOCAT 5). NOTICE: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action In Accordance With (IAW) FAR Subpart 5.2. This is neither an RFP nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, but rather a synopsis prepared IAW FAR 5.207 for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for services. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. DESCRIPTION: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIEB intends to issue an RFP for the acquisition of DOCAT services. The anticipated basic contract ordering period will include a five-year base period with a three-year and two-year optional ordering period for a total potential ordering period of ten years. This will be the DOCAT 5 contract which is intended to provide personnel to perform maintenance and related tasks for the 309th Maintenance Groups for the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) at Hill AFB, Utah and its geographically separated units primarily located at Davis Monthan AFB and Randolph AFB. Also included within the scope of DOCAT5 are the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma; and Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) at Warner Robins AFB, Georgia. Operating locations and requirements that are unique to those locations will be defined at the Task Order level. See the attached draft Statement Of Work (SOW) for additional details. Anticipated Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure and unit of issue is listed in the attached draft solicitation document. RESPONSES: Interested parties may submit responses, by email, to the points of contact listed in this posting. Documents posted are all in draft format and may be changed from now until RFP release. The Government encourages vendor feedback on the draft documents. A question and comment matrix are attached and should be utilized when providing feedback. The Government anticipates releasing the official RFP early Feburary 2024. Please submit questions as quickly as possible to allow the Government adequate time to answer.
