This requirement is to procure one (1) Horizontal Electrical Discharge Machine System (HEDMS) for the RAPID Innovation Center at Hill AFB, Utah. Acquiring a HEDMS will enable precise removal of additively manufactured metal parts from the surface of build plates. All the specifications in the attached Product Description must be met. See the attached solicitation document for more details. All quotes must complete and return the attached solicitation document along with any other relevant attachments. **Please Note** This is a brand name requirement for the GF Machining Solutions CUT AM 500. However, we will consider all quotes that are able to meet the exact specifications in the attached Product Description. **Attention** We have received questions regarding offloading and rigging of the machine. Please see below these questions and answers: - Supplier should include freight to your dock? Yes, the supplier should include freight to the base. - Who pays for the rigging/off-loading and placing the machine in its final position? The MXSG install shop on base does the rigging and moving for us. - Supplier is not responsible for providing any electrical, water or air lines/drops/connections for the machine? It is correct that the supplier won't be providing connections. That will be done by facilities here on base. - I did not see any requirements for special ID tags outside of the manufacturer tags that are provided by the factory. We don't need any other special ID tags from the supplier.
