This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA822420R8375 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and its supplements. This is an announcement for full and open competition filed under NAICS code 334614 with small business size standard of 1250 employees and Product Supply Code D318. This acquisition calls for the contractor to furnish a Brand Name purchase of one (1) Nicolet iS50 Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) in accordance with the physical and software characteristics outlined in the Purchase Specifications. **Please see attachment "8375_RFQ_Nicolet iS50FTR" for the anticipated Contract Line Item Number structure."** CLIN will be established on a firm fixed price basis. Delivery/supply of the item must include software. All proposals must indicate if the vendor can achieve delivery within 60 Days after receipt of contract. If this delivery is not practicable, vendors must propose an alternate delivery schedule. Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis in accordance with FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to: price; meeting specifications in product description; and, delivery within the specified timeframe. Any exceptions to Purchase Specification dated 29 September 2020 must be identified in quote. By submitting a quote, the contractor agrees to all stipulations in the purchase specification unless specified as an exception in the quote. **The due date for all proposals is Wednesday, 14 October 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.** All questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted by Wednesday, 07 October 2020 at 5:00 p.m. to allow for the Government to assess the inquiry and provide a response.
