The 309 Commodities Maintenance Group (CMXG), Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah (UT) has a requirement to replace the draw bar in one of their Large Boring Mills, PM11697. The drawbar is the component that pulls the tool in during automated tool change, a key function of the boring mill. In its current state, the draw bar causes the mill to malfunction, drop tools, and poses a safety risk. Under this service contract, the contractor shall make all necessary repairs as described herein, and bring the machine to a fully functioning and serviceable state.
