Notice of Intent to Sole Source Hill Air Force Base Contracting Office intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract to VitalSmarts, LC. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This requirement is for VitalSmarts Crucial Conversations Kits and Crucial Accountability Kits that are required for ongoing supervisor development leadership courses taught at Hill AFB, Utah and are intellectual property and copyrighted solely by VitalSmarts, LC. The Crucial Conversations Kits include: Student participant toolkit – for taking the Crucial Conversations course Audio companion – includes expansion of course concepts, scenarios, and how to apply the lessons to real life situations Crucial Conversations paperback book Reference que cards The Crucial Accountability Kits include: Student participant toolkit – for taking the Crucial Accountability course Audio companion – includes expansion of course concepts, scenarios, and how to apply the lessons to real life situations Crucial Accountability paperback book Practice cards This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to VitalSmarts, LC., 282 West River Bend Lane, Suite 100, Provo, UT 84604for Crucial Conversation Kits and Crucial Accountability Kits. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 6114430, and the size standard is $12 million. The product code is 6940. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be feasible and advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
