The Purge Fluid must be shipped in a semi-tanker trailer (no drums or small containers). Other equipment required for off-loading the Purge Fluid is outlined in the attached Purchase Specification document. The Purge Fluid will be used to prepare aircraft for entering maintenance hangers in order to eliminate or mitigate flammability issues normally present when working with open fuel cells. Procedures set forth in the MSDS_MIL-PRF-38299 (Safety Data Sheet) and MIL-PRF-38299E (Performance Specification) attachments must be followed by offer that is awarded a contract.
