The OO-ALC Complex Innovation Center is required to purchase an additive manufacturing printer capable of printing continuous fibers throughout the manufactured part. There is desire to build synergistic relationships with the advanced composites office operating under the ATTC here on base. That office currently has proven capabilities through the brand markforged. It is our desire to purchase a machine that will mimic their research and material properties by using the same technology and materials. This will be a brand name justification request.
