SOURCES SOUGHT SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation Number: Notice Type: FA8224-23-F35Augmentaiton Sources Sought Synopsis: Notice: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. 2. Program Details: The 570th AMXG Group at Hill AFB, Utah requires the service of general aircraft and aircraft sheet metal maintenance work in support of depot level modifications on the F-35 aircraft. This work will be a period of six (6) months and will require seven (7) Aircraft General Mechanics APG level III, seven (7) Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics level III, and one (1) supervisor. Of the total fourteen (14) technicians, two (2) will be designated as lead shifts – one on day shift and the other on swing shift. All personnel shall have experience and certifications specific to the F-35 aircraft maintenance, as well as possess secret security clearances and meet all base requirements immediately upon contract award. This service will allow for the 570th AMXS Group to get aircraft maintenance on schedule and prevent other aircraft from falling behind schedules. Please see the attached SOW for further clarification 3. Instructions: The Government requests interested parties provide the following information (please limit your response to no more than 4 pages): a. If you disagree that 336411 is the proper NAICS Code, please submit that comment to the requiring activity along with what NAICS Code you believe this should be classified under; however, please do not wait for an amendment to this request. The due date for the market survey will remain at March 29, 2023. This date will not be extended. f. You are encouraged to provide any documentation to support your business’s capability in meeting the requirements. Failure to provide this type of documentation may result in the Government being unable to adequately assess your business’s capabilities to provide F-35 maintenance services. g.
