The 574 AMXS performs periodic automated inlet coatings repair (ICR) on the F-22 using specialized painting robots in Building 674 at Hill AFB. The F-22 Coating Robots and Control Consoles are used to apply the specialized coatings stack-up within the aircraft inlets and are essential to the F-22’s low observable characteristics. Contractor support is required to keep the F-22 Coating Robots and Control Consoles maintained, supplied, and fully operational. The Contractor shall provide onsite technical assistance, repair, maintenance, improvement implementation, document maintenance, training, operation, and parts supply for all F-22 Coating Robots and Control Consoles at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB). The contractor shall ensure all coating robots and control consoles are in working order and fully operational. In addition, the contractor shall be available to assist and support F-22 production with robotic coatings application.
