SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Notice Type: Sources Sought 1. NOTICE: This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Proposals (RFP), a Request for Quotations (RFQ) or an indication that the Government will contract for any of the items and/or services contained in this notice. In accordance with FAR 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any information/items submitted in response to the RFI, and the government is not obligated to pay for any time taken for a response to this request. No determination as to the viability of this potential requirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for this effort. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334111 which have a corresponding Size standard of 1250 Employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2. PROGRAM DETAILS: This Sources Sought is being submitted to gauge industry’s ability and capability to provide an AMETEK PATS Auxiliary Power and Load Unit.
