This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Atmospheric Early Warning System (AEWS) Program Management Office intends to solicit and award a single five year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a two year option IAW 52.217-9. The total expected ordering period is seven years. This notice is not a request for proposals. A solicitation will be issued via the Government Point of Entry (GPE). Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the RFP package and any amendments. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a small business size standard of $34 Million. Periods of performance will be defined individually for each order placed during the ID/IQ ordering periods for both severable and non-severable efforts. The AEWS consists of a total of 37 AN/FPS-124 operational sites located across North Canada. This requirement is for the production and installation of 28-foot composite radome assemblies, spare parts, data deliverables, travel to and from radar sites, shipping, development and delivery of training material, as well as, disassembly and disposal of the legacy radomes. Specific items, quantities, and locations will be identified on the Task/Delivery Orders issued after award of the basic ID/IQ. A Sources Sought posted to SAM.gov in February 2024 was issued to determine potential vendors that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to successfully manufacture and install radomes. This Sources Sought yielded vendor responses who could act as prime and sub-contractors. This is a notice of proposed contract action and NOT a request for proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All inquiries should be sent by email to: christopher.jarman@us.af.mil and cameron.tucker.6@us.af.mil. Responses to this notice must be submitted by the date/time listed on the notice.
