Flight Test, Telemetry and Termination (FT3) Flight Test Kit Production
The Department of the Air Force intends to award a sole-source contract to The Boeing Company for the production and delivery of 25 flight test kit replenishment spares for the Minuteman III ICBM program. Performance is required from October 2027 through September 2035, with just-in-time delivery to Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA, 120 days before scheduled launches. The total estimated program value is approximately $955 million, including potential future procurements. Boeing is the only source capable of meeting the government’s strict schedules without an estimated $80 million duplication of costs and a three-year delay. Other responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration, but the government may proceed without competition.
