The Government intends to award a sole soure commercial contract to The L.S. Starrett Company for the manufacture and redesign of the modification for X Gages (Stock Number 4935-00-876-1487, Part Number 911425-1) used on MMIII ICBM Support Equipment. The Nozzle Control Gage is the hardware used to test a missile for conformance to repair guidelines to verify that the Nozzles stay aligned to specifications. The Government’s Technical Data Package consists of the specification and majority of the drawings, but is missing manufacturing processes. The manufacturing of the X-Gage will require obsolescence mitigation. Upon request, a draft specification, top level drawings and a parts list may be delivered.
