The supplies and services for this effort consist of the hardware and software necessary to convert 500, 1000, 2,000 and 5,000 pound warheads into precision guided weapons capable of autonomous and adverse weather delivery capability. JDAM guidance kits are strap-on guidance components containing Global Position System (GPS) receivers, which are compliant with Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) security protocol and have enhanced capability to operate in a GPS jamming environments as well as the capability to move to Military Code (M-Code). The technical services necessary to successfully manage production are as follows: the engineering, management, and logistic support required to ensure the continued Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) of the weapon system.
