The opportunity is for an Oxygen Tank Assembly used on the Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM). The assembly provides a metered quantity of commercially pure gaseous oxygen to the engine combustor during high-altitude starts, aiding engine light-off and stabilized combustion during acceleration. This procurement is restricted to qualified sources: Meggitt Safety Systems, Inc. (CAGE 25693, formerly 05167) and Tavco, Inc. (CAGE 99221).
