This is a Pre-solicitation Synopsis for Engineering Services in Support of Service Life Evaluation of the AGM-65 SR-109, SR-114, & SR-129, see attached synopsis. The agency intends to award a Sole Source contract to ATK Launch Systems Inc., the reason for lack of competition is: ATK Systems is the OEM of this system. The government does not own the technical data rights to this system. The solicitation and PWS will be made available to certified United States contractors by request. *All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This announcement does not bind or obligate the government in anyway. This Synopsis does not commit the government to pay fo proposal preparation costs. Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this synopsis. All costs associated with responding to this synopsis will be solely at the responding party's expense. The government requests that non-proprietary information be submitted in response, however, should proprietary information be submitted, it should be marked "PROPRIETARY" and will be handled accordingly. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Properly marked proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations.
