The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside, and by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 which has a corresponding Size standard of 1,250. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. The Data associated to this Requirement is proprietary to the Sole Source contractor. The Requirement is for the acquisition of highly specialized assets. These Installation Kits, EL are the optional hardware that is required to perform test station one-time only modifications or upgrades to replace obsolete components in the F-16 AIS Test Stands. BAE Systems Information and Electronics Systems Integration, Inc. is the only known source with the specialized facilities and equipment required to supply the Installation Kits, EL. Interested parties wishing to be considered will have to demonstrate possession of necessary and sufficient Tooling, Technical Data, experience, test equipment, specialized facilities, knowledge, material data, required to manufacture and ship the items. All part, components or materials used shall be equivalent to the original equipment specifications. The existing reliability and maintainability of the original product shall not be degraded. The end-item shall not be modified to change the form, fit, or function. Any Firm that believes they can meet the specification above and demonstrate prior experience with Installation, Kit EL are welcome to attempt to become a qualified source at their expense, the Government will not delay award for a company to qualify.
