PROPOSED SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT ACTION: The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The AFMC O_HL/PZABA, Hill AFB Utah, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a one-time, sole source, firm-fixed-price contract for the SST IU Interface Units (SST Tester), Electronic, (NSN: 4920015377747WF; Part Number: 16U75A46002G001) for the F-16 Weapon System to the OEM/Design Authority and the only qualified manufacturer listed on the Qualified Manufacture List (QML): BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. (94117) 65 Spit Brook Rd., Nashua, New Hampshire 03060-6909, United States. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. The government does not own the technical data to the SST IU Interface Units (SST Tester); BAE Systems owns the Technical Data Package (TDP). All interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The attached documents constitute all the detailed item information available to interested parties. This Pre-Solicitation is Notice for a Sole Source Solicitation, which will be issued in April or soon thereafter. The entire solicitation (FA8212-24-R-0004) and any/all attachments will be made available only on the SAM.gov website. All current and future information about this acquisition, i.e. solicitation, amendments, purchase specifications, and Q&A's will be distributed through SAM.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Item is export controlled IAW DFARS 252.225-7048. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements IAW FAR 52.225-3.
