RFP has not been extended. Amendment 0002 provides drawings of the Tail Cone Master Tooling. In addition, the modeling group has been revising and verifying the 3D models listed in the EDL. These models will be validated and released by contract award. The current models provided have minor errors related to geometry but do not affect the contractor’s ability to provide an accurate quote. 16OCT2023: Please review Amendment 0001 in its entirety and please email the PCO if you have any questions. The solicitation has been amended to add Master tooling as GFP. In addition, The USAF has scheduled a site visit to allow vendors to physically inspect the Master tooling at the AMARG on Tuesday November 14 2023 starting at 0830 local time. The details are in Amendment 0001. Please let me know if your firm is bidding on the RH and LH Aft Cowlings and if your firm is attending the site visit no later than (NLT) Friday October 27, 2023. This will be the only site visit to inspect the Master tooling. Please note, the drawings/specs for the casting house for the RH Aft Cowling and LH Aft Cowling are nearly the same. The drawings for the casting house for the LH Aft Cowling have been provided in the solicitation for bidding purposes. The drawings for the RH Aft Cowlings for the casting house will be provided by contract award. 14SEP2023: Solicitation is posted for 120 Days.
