SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS REFERENCE SOLICITATION # FA8212-23-R-0004 27 FEBRUARY 2023 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) to determine potential qualified sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of the SSS is to conduct market research to determine if other qualified sources exist to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and if so, if there is 2+ responsible small businesses to set-aside the acquisition as a total small business set-aside. Based on the responses from the SSS the Government intends to award a single contract. The information collected from the SSS will be used to determine the best acquisition strategy to include contract type and duration for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned small business concerns. Furthermore, the Government request all interested parties, large and small, to respond to this notice even if they are not a qualified source if they can meet the Government’s requirement, make the F-16 spares, and thus, is not a distributor. 2. RESPONSES: The SSS is posted for a minimum 30 calendar days. Responses are due by the notice closing date and time to the Contracting Officer Leslie Evans via e-mail at leslie.evans.1@us.af.mil. Have you manufactured same or similar parts to include to commercial customers? If so, please provide evidence of with point of contact(s). Provide any anticipated teaming arrangements. Any responses involving teaming arrangements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the teaming partner(s). Is there a different National Stock Number (NSN) or suitable part number? Is there an existing contract vehicle the USAF can order the parts from? Is there a DLA contract or GSA Schedule for the parts? What other acquisition strategy and contract type do you recommend and how will this provide the Government the best value?
