This is a pre-solicitation notice published in accordance with FAR 5.201 announcing a proposed contract action. The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to solicit a proposal for the eventual procurement of items and services unique to the production and deployment effort of the modernized Multiple Threat Emitter Simulator (MUTES) Control Processor (MCP) and Remote Emitter Unit (REU) Control Processor (RCP) of the AN/MST-T1A MUTES and AN/MST-T1V Mini-Multiple Treat Emitter Simulator (Mini-MUTES). The government intends to award to a single source under the authority of 10 USC §4022(f). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The anticipated contract action will result in award to Southwest Research Institute (SwRI).
