The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at Hill AFB, Utah, is contemplating a contract to repair and test multiple components of the Minuteman III ICBM weapon system?s Fast Rising B-Plug (FRBP) including the Secondary Door Locking Actuator (SDLA), Electric Mechanical Actuator (EMA), Locking Bar (ALB), Motor Drive (M1), and a number of other Line Replaceable Units (LRU), Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and other related Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) components. Refer to attached pre-solicitation notice for the full version containing more detailed information. Updated 6/12/2025 to add clarifying language: 1) At the time pre-solicitation was posted the acquisition was being reviewed by the Foreign Disclosure Office which has subsequently issued the following statement: AFNWC is authorized to allow foreign participation at the prime level for the subject procurement. Foreign owned firms are advised to contact the contracting officer or program manager before submitting a proposal to determine whether there are restrictions on receiving an award.2) The original post indicates all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. For clarification purposes all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
