Update - 06/11/2024 Providing additional response time This is the solicitation notice of intent to award a contract in support of the ICBM Minuteman III B-Plug to Richards Manufacturing Company--Cage Code 67291 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) and IAW FAR 6.302-1(a(2)(iii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency; however, manufacture of this part requires special test and inspection facilities which are currently in use on an active repair contract which cannot be moved; replicating the test equipment would cause unrecoverable duplication of cost. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required supplies and test equipment within 15 days of this publication. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
