NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE – Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Missile Guidance Set (MGS) SE-437C Silver Zinc Batteries, NSN 6135-01-527-1422AH, Qualification and Production Assets. The Supply Chain Management Contracting Division, Hill Air Force Base, UT intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, with EaglePicher Technologies, LLC. This will be a new contract action with an estimated award date of October 2024. Contract deliveries will be made through approximately October 2028 or 48 months after contract award. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will not be posted on Sam.gov; however, it will be provided upon request. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All responses must be received prior to 21 June 2023, 10:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST), in writing, to carol.roth@us.af.mil. Telephone requests will not be honored. Anticipated RFP Issue Date: 21 June 2023 - Anticipated Closing Date: 5 August 2023, 10:00 AM MST.
