This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. This request for information is market research, intended to identify potential contractors who are responsible and have the skills, experience, data or data-rights, and knowledge required to successfully complete this effort for AFLCMC/WWA Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for a possible future procurement. To be considered as a potential source for this requirement, an offeror will be required to submit data in response to the anticipated future solicitation, verifying capabilities to meet the requirements on solicitation. The Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors who are interested in the total redesign of the A-10 CICU and the development of the CICS. There is no page limit to RFI responses. However, the Air Force IPT is not interested in elaborate marketing material, and has decided to limit marketing material to no more than four (4) pages. If these marketing pages are utilized, please include past performance / experience in designing, coding, and implementing. Responses to this RFI are due 22 May 2020 at 4:00 p.m. mountain time. The current Draft Requirements Document and associate technical specifications contain data that is subject to export control laws and regulations. Only contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Services Center, and have an approved DD Form 2345, will be provided copies of the current draft requirements document and related technical specification documents. To receive a disk, or a secure file transfer from DoDSAFE, containing the Draft Requirements Document(s) please send your company’s DD Form 2345 to benjamin.peterson.8@us.af.mil and cooper.brown.1@us.af.mil. OTHER NOTES: This is not a request for proposal (RFP) or an invitation for bid, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this RFI for information or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Only non-classified information shall be provided in your response, and your response should be reviewed to assure that there are not any operational sensitivities identified.
