***Note: This will be awarded as a Sole Source acquisition to a predetermined 8a contractor in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(a)(2) In an effort to address escalating utility prices as well as the Energ... ***Note: This will be awarded as a Sole Source acquisition to a predetermined 8a contractor in accordance with FAR 19.805-1(a)(2) In an effort to address escalating utility prices as well as the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005), Executive Order (EO) 13423, Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, Air Force mandated energy program requirements, and in support of the Air Force energy management program, Hill Air Force Base is requesting Resource Efficiency Management (REM) assistance from two qualified resource management professionals to support the energy program at Hill AFB, Utah. The Hill Air Force Base Energy Management Program provides a focused and coordinated effort for improvement in the energy-efficient operation of key facilities, equipment and control systems, address demand reduction, and research/facilitate energy conservation and funding opportunities. The contractor will provide REM assistance at the levels-of-effort indicated in the SOW, for the duration for the performance period.
