The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: 76 AMXG (566th and 569th) is requesting the utilizations of funds for the purchase of Ten (10) Shoulder support exoskeletons and five (5) neck support attachments. These exoskeletons must meet the following specifications: . Must have instantaneous force assist adjustment. . Must include adjustments for arm length, waist diameter, and spinal height. . Must fit 90% of human population in terms of size. . Must weigh less than 5.5 lbs . At least 7 lbs lift support to Each Arm . Area between shoulder blades must be free of obstruction for PPE integration . One-size-fits-all style system . Operator-facing self-adjustment . No more than 4 inches of a silhouette increase during operation . Must be machine washable or cleaned via ozone, or a combination of the two. . Neck Support Units must have an adjustable resting angle . Must have easily identifiable donning/doffing features for emergency egress if required. A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 12 months ARO This is a Small Business Set Aside. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award.
