The Air Force intends to solicit for the following commodity: The 76th CMXG is requesting Vapor Hone Blasters. This requirement must have the following specifications: •Three (3) wet blasting cabinets •Shall be a closed loop system that blasts a slurry of liquid abrasive •Shall have stainless steel construction with minimum interior dimensions of 36" x 36" x 35"High •Shall have access door to be a pneumatic vertical opening door with access height 24" x 24" •Shall have extended drip edge to prevent water and media from dripping to the floor •Shall have a pumping system with a high concentration submerged urethane vortex pump designed for high wear/slurry applications with pulse •Shall have a pump and motor that is able to be removed and installed without tools •Shall have a closed loop particle filtration system to preserve good media and feed an on-demand auto rinse diaphragm pump which provides rinse water for the viewing window •Shall have a viewing window that is cleared by rinse water, not a wiper system •Shall have electrical enclosure with a NEMA 12 with 460 VAC, 3 phase power •Shall have 24" diameter stainless steel turntable with 150 pound load capacity and 1/4" thick stainless steel plate •Shall have 24" diameter Linatex rubber mat for the turntable •Shall have automatic media density monitor that samples and displays the average ratio of solid media to water •Shall have built in water-cyclone device that allows easy emptying of the media in the process sump into a five-gallon bucket when performing a scheduled media change out •Shall have medium capacity combination Exhaust/Demister/Filter/Blower with final HEPA filter rated at approximately 150 CFM •Shall have thigh mounted start/stop mushroom buttons •Shall have wet blast cabinet that operates at or under 80 decibels A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Total Small Business Set-Aside Estimated Period of Performance: 4 weeks System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332813 with a size standard of 500 EMP.
