The Purpose of This Amendment Is: to post industry question and answers. FIRST= The following questions are hereby answered as follows: Question 1 - Is the design based off of an existing drawing set? If so would we have access to this drawing set as a basis for the redesign? Answer 1- The drawings provided in the solicitation are the only drawings available. Question 2 - If the government does not have an existing drawing set, is it permissible for the winning contractor to survey the existing B1-B stands to create a new drawing set? If not, would the government provide templates or drawings reflecting the fuselage shape at the floor/slider areas of the stands? Answer 2 - It will be mandatory for the winning contractor to survey the existing B-1B tail stands to create new stands/drawing sets. Question 3 - Does the government have a set of changes and improvements that they would like to see on the next 3 sets of stands? Answer 3 - The only addition would be fall restraint anchors on the second level, which was included on the Statement of Work (SOW) attached to the original solicitation. The stands currently have them now, but they were installed later and were not part of the original design. SECOND = All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
