USAF Commodity Synopsis This Notice does not constitute a request for quote. No contract shall be awarded from this Notice. The intent of this Notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice required by FAR 5.2 - Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of the Request for Quote at a later date. No reimbursements shall be made for any costs associated with reviewing, providing material, or providing information in response to this Notice or any follow up information requests. Nothing shall be construed herein to commit or obligate the Government to any further action as a result of this Notice. Non-responsive Contractors to this Notice will not be precluded from participation in any future solicitation, if issued. 1. The US Air Force (USAF) intends to solicit and issue one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the purchase and delivery of one (1) small Fluid Cell Forming Press Turn-Key Solution, including all aspects of delivery, offloading, installation, start-up/performance verification and training. 2. The requested descriptions/specifications for the small Fluid Cell Forming Press Turn-Key Solution are outlined below: Fluid Cell Forming Press shall be capable of forming at a minimum of 5,000 pounds per square inch (PSI) Shall include a forming tray diameter at a minimum of 16" Delivery and Offloading Installation, start-up/performance verification Application Training 6 Month Warranty 1-Year Preventative Maintenance 3. The Contractor shall provide delivery, installation, startup/performance verification, and training in accordance with (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW). A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 30 Days ARO. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ . The NAICS code for this requirement is 333517, with a size standard of 500 EMP.
