No contract shall be awarded from this Notice. The intent of this Notice is to provide the pre-solicitation notice required by FAR 5.2 - Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions in preparation for release of the Request for Quote at a later date. No reimbursements shall be made for any costs associated with reviewing, providing material, or providing information in response to this Notice or any follow up information requests. Nothing shall be construed herein to commit or obligate the Government to any further action as a result of this Notice. Non-responsive Contractors to this Notice will not be precluded from participation in any future solicitation, if issued. The Government intends to Solicit and Award one (1) Single-Source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), to Kansas-Oklahoma Machine Tools (KOMT), to provide a Turn-Key Service Solution for the Relocation of two (2) existing Makino a82M Horizontal Machining Centers from one location to another on Tinker AFB. The Turn-Key Service Solution shall include the following specifications: Qty Unit Description 2 Ea: Cutting, removal, and disposal of existing building foundation at the destination location 2 Ea: Design, Installation, and leveling of two new isolation slabs at the destination location 2 Ea: Rigging and labor necessary to uninstall and prepare both machines for movement 2 Ea: Relocation, rigging, and labor necessary for the installation of both machines at the destination location (required utilities: Air and Electricity) 2 Ea: Accredited A2LA, ISO-17025 machine tool laser calibration service with documentation to factory standards for both machines A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 92 Days ARO. Additional details are provided in the accompanying Single Source Justification Memo. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award.
