Commodity Synopsis: The US Air Force (USAF) intends to solicit and issue one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the following commodities: 1. The 76th CMXG requires a contract for the purchase and delivery of one (1) Laser Wire Marker, to include delivery, installation, startup/performance verification, calibration and training. 2. The requested descriptions/specifications are outlined below: a. UV laser wire marking: Sealed Laser Direct write on wire Full upper and lower case ACSII alphanumeric character set Single floor standing Unit – fully integrated system Air cooled laser Powered coiling pan Electrical requirements between 90-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz single phase Floor standing single dereeler not powered Processing Capabilities: Accommodate 26 AWG to 6 AWG wire/cable Accommodate up to 900 m cable length and down to 150mm Accuracy of lengths meet -0/+0.25% Measure and cut wire electrically Marking speed of at least 25 m/min Splice detector capable Knot detector capable Automatic Spooling Controls Windows based computer controlled with software that is fully programmable Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse if required to control software Specifications: Required to be able to meet Boeing BAC 5152 Electrical Standards Maximum dimensions: 35.0 x 35.0 x 40 inch. Other: One (1) Cover to prevent dust intrusion User manual Four (4) ea Laser safety goggles One (1) ea Laser maintenance kit b. Installation: Calibrated to AS5649/EN4650 standard Training of up to two (2) days c. Two (2) year extended warranty 3. Contractor shall provide delivery, installation, startup/performance verification, calibration and training in accordance with (IAW) the Statement of Work (SOW). A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 73 Days ARO. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award.
