Commodity Synopsis: The US Air Force (USAF) intends to solicit and issue one (1) contract for the following commodities: The 76th AMXG requires a contract for the purchase and delivery of three (3) Scissor Lifts with the following specifications: The scissor lifts shall be battery operated. The batteries shall have a continuous use of a minimum eight (8) hours. Each scissor lift shall have an integrated 120V smart charger capable of charging the batteries in a minimum of 8.5 hours with automatic battery protection. Scissor lift platforms shall have lanyard attachment points certified by a Qualified Fall Protection Engineer documenting the designed system meets OSHA/ANSI.Z359 requirements. Scissor lift platforms shall be enclosed in guard rails a minimum of 42” tall with a mid-bar to meet OSHA/ANSI.Z359 Scissor lifts shall be ANSI A92 complaint. Each scissor lift shall be capable of supporting a minimum of two (2) persons with tools. (Minimum platform capacity 500 lbs.) The scissor lifts shall be capable of reaching a minimum platform height of 20 feet vertically. (working height of 26 feet vertically) The scissor lift platforms’ dimensions shall be a minimum of 80”x 30”. The scissor lifts shall have an extendable platform to allow more surface area coverage (minimum 34” extension). The scissor lifts shall be used in wet locations and all electronics shall be enclosed. The scissor lifts shall have proportional controls. The scissor lifts shall have a flashing light/strobe and motion alarm. Scissor lift platforms shall be accessible through a swing gate. Scissor lift platforms shall have toe boards with a minimum height of 6”. The scissor lifts shall be small and agile enough to maneuver around the aircraft. Machine height shall be no more than 8ft tall Machine shall be no more than 4ft wide Machine shall be no more than 9ft long Machine shall have a maximum inside turning radius of 22”. The machine shall have a minimum stowed drive speed of 2 mph. The machine shall have a minimum ground clearance of 3”. The machine shall have a minimum tire size of 15”. The machine shall have a minimum of 25% gradeability. The Contractor shall furnish a minimum of three (3) hardcopies of the Operation and Maintenance manuals at delivery. Electronic versions of the Operational and Maintenance manuals shall be provided in addition to the minimum three (3) hardcopies. The manuals shall recommend instructions on preventative and remedial maintenance. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. Total Small Business Set-Aside.
