Solicitation The 76th AMXG requires the purchase of three (3) Scissor Lifts with the following specifications: The scissor lifts shall be battery operated. The batteries shall have a continuous use of a minimum eight (8) hours. Each lift shall have an integrated 120V smart charger capable of charging the batteries in a minimum of 8.5 hours with automatic battery protection. The fall protection system shall be certified by a Qualified Fall Protection Engineer documenting the designed system meets OSHA/ANSI.Z359 requirements. Scissor lift platform shall be enclosed in guard rails a minimum of 42” tall with a mid-bar to meet OSHA/ANSI.Z359 The scissor lifts shall be capable of supporting a minimum of two persons with tools. (Minimum platform capacity 500 lbs.) The scissor lifts shall be capable of reaching a minimum working height of 26 feet vertically. The scissor lift platform dimensions shall be a minimum of 80”x 30”. The scissor lifts shall have an extendable platform to allow more surface area coverage (minimum 34” extension). The scissor lifts shall be used in wet locations and all enclosures shall adhere to NEMA requirements for hose directed water. The scissor lifts shall have padded rails to help minimize damage to any object that the platform rail may contact. Scissor lift platform shall be accessible through a swing gate. The scissor lifts shall have a collision avoidance system that will prevent or minimize damage to when the scissor lift comes in contact with an aircraft. Scissor lift platform shall have toe boards with a minimum height of 6”. The scissor lift shall be small and agile enough to maneuver around the aircraft. Machine height shall be no more than 8ft tall Machine shall be no more than 4ft wide Machine shall be no more than 9ft long Machine shall have a maximum inside turning radius of 1”. The machine shall have a minimum stowed drive speed of 2.2 mph. The machine shall have a minimum ground clearance of 3”. Machine shall have a minimum tire size of 15”. Machine shall have a minimum 25% gradeability. The contractor shall furnish a minimum of three (3) hardcopies of the Operation and Maintenance manuals at delivery. Electronic versions of the Operational and Maintenance manuals shall be provided in addition to the minimum three (3) hardcopies. The manual shall recommend instructions on preventative and remedial maintenance. Maintenance Manuals. The contractor shall supply their recommendations for an on-going maintenance program. Program recommendations shall include recommended inspection criteria, intervals and periodic and long-term maintenance operations. As built drawings shall include illustrated parts breakdown showing part numbers for replacement parts. Recommendations shall also include quantities and frequency of repair parts to be kept on hand for frequent repairs. Inspection Manuals Training Manuals Spare Parts List – The contractor shall provide a recommended spare parts list and information on cost and sources of supply. This is a total small business set-aside. A Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Estimated delivery: 10 weeks ARO.
