The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a sole source contract to Hartwig, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), for the following service: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation and inspection manuals necessary to perform an alignment on Okuma Horizontal CNC Lathe OC21481 at Oklahoma City – Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC). The equipment is listed in Appendix A. Known Problems: The spindle is in need of realignment. Requested Services: The Contractor shall perform the following services: • Realign the spindle to remove taper from test cut part. • Reset the Y alignment • Reset the turret alignment parallelism and check turret disk rotation alignment • Check the tail stock alignment • Reset X and Y zero positions • Reset tool touch setter calibration A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. Estimated Period of Performance: 90 days ARO System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $8M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.
