This announcement constitutes the official pre-award synopsis, as the U.S. Air Force intends to award a sustainment services contract with activities encompassing NAICS Code 336412 (size standard of 1,500 employees). This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A single award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle with multiple contract types is anticipated with a period of performance of 10 years. The services include, but not limited to, depot-level repair, operational-level parts, depot-level parts, existing and future service bulletins, sustaining engineering services, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical data rights access, engine health monitoring, trend monitoring, propeller support, propeller integration and propeller OEM reach back. This contract will include program management, sustaining engineering tasks, T108 depot activation, Field Service Representative (FSR) support, engine health and trend monitoring, operational and depot level parts and propeller integration. This contract will provide the management of the full cycle of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and supply chain management; e.g., planning, scheduling, directing, funding and controlling, to include related support and training equipment. This will include performance of on-and-off equipment maintenance to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Time Change Items (TCIs) and One Time Inspections (OTIs). It will also provide support to all activities associated with establishing and managing an Inventory Control Point (ICP); e.g. procuring/acquiring Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) spares; performing LRU repairs; researching, analyzing, and resolving items impacted by Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS); developing, updating and distributing Technical and Engineering Data changes and updates; and, performing engineering/sustainment support as necessary.
