PREAWARD SYNOPSIS THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS SYNOPSIS IS A PRE AWARD NOTIFICATION OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT MODIFICATION. General Information Document Type: Pre-Award Synopsis Program: T53-L-703 Engine Depot Maintenance Contract Posted Date: 5 August 2021 Anticipated Contract Award: 24 August 2021 Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, AFLCMC/LPK, Tinker AFB, 3001 Staff Drive, Tinker AFB, OK 73145, UNITED STATES The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry of the Air Forces’ intent to award a Sole Source contract modification to Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) in support of Airborne Engines (Ltd.) 7762 Progress Way, Delta, BC, B4G 1A4, pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c )(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma plans to issue a modification to Extend the term of the contract FA8124-16-D-0001 up to six additional months. This contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the T53-L-703 Depot Level Engine Repair and Overhaul. The current acquisition strategy is to issue a modification to the current Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract FA8124-16-D-0001 to add additional option periods and execute FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the term of the contract. The additional period of performance will be from 25 August 2021 up to 24 February 2022. Justification: Services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for extending current services under contract FA8124-16-D-0001 for up to an additional six months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Codes are as follows: - 336412 Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,500 employees.
