This requirement i... This is an amendment (02) to the solicitation to update clauses to Large Business. This is an amendment to the solicitation in order to incorporate alternate NSNs on multiple CLINs. This requirement is to provide repair/overhaul services for the J85-GE-5/21 MISTR components. These propulsion items are internal components and assemblies made of high strength steel alloys, castings and forgings, and flight control and accessory assemblies (main fuel control, afterburner fuel control, main fuel pump, afterburner fuel pump, and variable exhaust nozzle power unit) for the J85 engine. This requirement will provide performance based services with technical, logistics management and repair requirements for the return of un-serviceable J85 components to a serviceable condition. This contract will be a Ten-Year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Non-Commercial, Indefinite Delivery Indefinte Quantity (IDIQ) Type Contract. The ordering period for the contract will be a five-year basic, with five one-year options. This acquisition will be awarded as Sole Source to Aero-Turbine, Inc. (CAGE: 0T790), using Other than Full and Open Competition procedures due to only one responsible source, IAW with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The offeror must meet qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
