The resultant contract shall be for a 7-Year Requirements type contract (2 Year Basic, 3 Priced Option Years, and 2 Unpriced Option Years) for the Check, Test, and Overhaul of the F100-PW-220/229 Fuel Controls and Accessories specified in the solicitation's schedule and as outlined in the attachments thereto. The best estimated quantity (BEQ) set forth for each line item is the best estimated total quantity the Government expects to order for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) over the applicable ordering period of the contract. These items are Critical Safety Items (CSI) which require Government Engineering source approval. The USAF performed Market Research and it revealed Honeywell International Inc. (CAGE: 9X173) is currently the only qualified source capable of performing the needed overhaul.
